I am tired of just letting it be. Just before the Protestant Reformation occurred in 1517, there were only two differing Christian churches in the world: the Catholic Church and the Orthodox Church. Both churches, by that point in time, virtually agreed on everything EXCEPT the authority of the papacy.

500 years later, you have nearly 40,000 different Protestant denominations - each one of them slightly (or in some cases severely) different from the other.

Have you ever wondered why godlessness and immorality have slowly crept through our society? Perhaps it's because people see a divided Christian Church who can't even agree on when you should baptize a person? When they see Christians fighting over little pieces of doctrine such as that, it's no wonder they question whether or not there is a God.

Jesus gave an extensive illustration about them (Matthew 13:36-43)

But then warned they would be easily recognizable (Matthew 7:15-17, 20)

So, the fruits of Catholicism, is pretty bad. Their leaders appear to be wholly pedophile, and they have scarred the lives of an entire generation of young boys.

Interestingly, you don't hear about the nuns too much. A friend of mine from Guiana, S.America was relating to me a story of how she and a friend of hers, back in the late 50's, wanted to join the local convent, upon graduating high school. She described as one of the creepiest things ever, as the nuns were 'checking her out', and feeling her up inappropriately. This was the 50's. A convent of Lesbians.

I guess this is close to being accepted now, with all the movements going on

At least you agree Catholics are Christians. Some evangelicals, which I assume you are one don't even believe that. The Virgin Mary has a honored place among Catholics but never have I heard that Hail Mary's are as important as Jesus's crucifixion. I am not Catholic but attended Catholic schools and can say that I feel privileged to be able to have had the education from a class standpoint and socially. As a Jew I never heard any negatives my way, unfortunately in dealings with the protestant side my experience is much different.
