REG861's idea from the P.F. Chang's thread. This is not a finished product. Post and discuss choices, say what you agree and disagree with, and I'll update the OP. I'm also going to go back and try to add ratings from yelp/urbanspoon as well as break it up by type of cuisine

Give up votes to places you agree with and down votes to places you don't to make finalizing the list easier

Restaurant:
P.F. Chang's
Carraba's
Bonefish
Cheesecake Factory
Fogo de Chao
Zea's
Copeland's
Ruth's Chris
BJs
Houston's
J. Alexander's
Pappa's Restaurants (papadeaux, Papasitos, ect..)
Goode Co.
Cracker Barrel
Pluckers
Acme Oyster House
Flemings

Mexican:
Coyote Blues
Torchy's Tacos
Chuy's

Pizza:
Mellow Mushroom
Uno's

Healthy:
Zoe's Kitchen
Panera Bread

Fast Food:
In N Out
Chick Fil A
Sonic
Popeyes
SmashBurger
Boston Market
Potbelly
Whataburger
Bud's Broiler
Firehouse Subs
Zaxby's
Free Birds
Five Guys
FroStop

Not a fan of Changs. Too much money for too little food.

The goat of chain restaurants is clearly Carrabas.

Bonefish. - not a bad place at all, never had a bad thing there

Cheesecake Factory - actually pretty darn good all around

Copeland's - just a personal favorite of mine.

I disagree with PF Chang's.

I'm not putting Krystal Burger in there

I'm talking about sober food you can eat for dinner

And I just put Changs because it's what inspired the thread. Places that get the most recognition I'll keep in there

No 5-star serving only the rarest craft beer and 20 year old bourbon, no care

I'm a fan of basic healthy protein, veggie, and rice meals, so I would add Zoe's Kitchen and Boneheads (piri piri chicken and fish) to the list.

Smashburger makes a good chicken sandwich and burger in the 5 guys price range that is pretty good.

Love me some SmashBurger. I'll add M Burger but I doubt many on here have had it. Basically In N Out with more options

All solid choices. I have had mostly good experiences at all of them. I have also been pleased with the BJ's Brewhouse in Clear Lake, TX. I know it doesn't rate that well in BR but I suspect it is more due to poor management than anything else. We have never had a bad experience at ours.

Is Houston's still open on St Charles? Always thought that was a solid place for reasonably priced lunch fare.
