Just to appease GG, I'm steaming two dozen blue crab from Destin Ice (great people, great store), and boiling 3 pounds of head on large shrimp. We'll roast a few nice ears of Funks G90, too. I'm drinking a lot of beer. Mrs Otis is getting her Baptist rear end flustered. Should be a memorable evening.

Well, thank goodness, you're partaking in the local seafood, Otis the Town Drunk. I know it's hard to get the Mayberry out of the man when you're out of town, but give it a try.

I'm having gin. I intend to have a healthy amount. I have no idea what the night meal will include at this point. Perhaps something with shrimp or a pre-4th hot dog.

Nice. Don't sleep on the burger or the butterscotch pudding. Both top notch.

the braised short ribs app is killer, as is the shrimp tagliatelle if they have it on the menu. paneed rabbit is one of their best entrees.

<----- FDT is most likely from a food truck later on after I get some drinks in me

Cool now when you recommend the place you can actually say you've been there.

FD- roast, mash taters, corn, peas, then beer.

Pan seared Steelhead with some Tonys sprinkled on top with a salad and some sweet tea... Bout to meet up with some friends so hopefully this agrees with alcohol

I never recommend it. I said I would go there before I would go to your favorite spot, smash burger. Big difference and I think any neutral observer would agree.

My grandparents agree....
LPG usually has a great short rib dish. Take a hard look.

Food really does bond us.

Eating some field peas with some chili sauce. The chili sauce was made by my grandmother that died in November. Tomorrow is her birthday.

Still fantastic, MeMaw. I love you!

Caught some specs this am. Fried a few, sauteed squash, tomato, onion, garlic, & bell pepper.
