Everything is delicious! Only my second time going to cowbell. Food is unreal at this place. I want to try everything! First trip I scored a burger and it was A+. Cooked to medium perfection, excellent meat to bread ratio then nice toppings.
Second time I ordered the fish & shrimp burger. Another tasty sampling. I ordered the Portuguese white bean and kale instead of fries this time. Holy shite some of the best soup I've had in my life. Brisket in the soup surprising yet delicious.

Also ordered the Brussel sprouts sans bacon and they were also cooked to perfection. They added some half cut red grapes to add the perfect amount of sweetness. Fiancée had the harvest burger which she also said was amazing.

One bad part is every drink we've had was awful. They need to hire an experienced bartender. Their take on an old fashioned is a joke. Worst drink I've ever had. Ordered a regular old fashioned and it wasn't any better. Mojito had way too much soda and another specialty cocktail sweet puppy was supposed to have pineapple vodka grapefruit sugar rim, basically lots of shite to taste like nothing. The food is so good I'm sad to see them frick up something as easy as a good cocktail.

Regardless can't wait to go back. The entire menu looks appetizing so will definitely be trying several options over the next couple of months.

Hope to get through there myself sometime. The online menu does look fun as a casual joint. Have you tried the tamales? Know where they come from?

It's one of my favorite casual spots in the city. Their figgy piggy app is great, and I also love the brussel sprouts. I get their burger every time I go, but my wife tries other items. She's had the fish and shrimp burger, which was great. And she's also had the shrimp and grits, which she really enjoyed. One of my friends got some kind of crab salad which they really enjoyed, too.

Oh, and I usually get St Arnold's Endeavor IPA to drink.

I love Cowbell. And actually, the couple of cocktails I've tried there have been fine, imo. A little unusual but tasty enough.

glass, what did you have at Ancora?

Going to Ancora tonight...luckily the group chose that over Amici.

Ancora is one of my favorite places in the city.

Meh, I've only heard Cowbell's burger is overpriced and average.

My favorite burgers in Nola are at Mondo in Lakeview and Company Burger on Freret.

You serious Clark?

Everyone that I've talked to that's had it, has it in their top 3 in the city.

It's good, but it's definitely not cheap. It's only casual in the sense of the atmosphere.

If you're lucky, your group will strike Amici from their culinary lexicon.
