I'm going to grill some meat in a little while. There will be several chicken breasts for the young tike for a few days, a filet for the wife that will end up being served to the dogs by daylight, four center cut pork chops for me that will last until Tuesday, and a bundle of asparagus on the grill. The young tike will also have a loaded sweet potato for added nourishment. My added nourishment is currently being served in 12 oz bottles.

Nothing. Had late lunch with my son/wife and 2 grandkids. We had Monjunis. I had the shrimp pasta salad with leftovers to take home.
As always when I pay and we stand up to leave my 3 y.o. grand daughter rushes up to me and says "I want money!".
If I ever forget to have a ziploc bag of coins in my car she is gonna have a melt down.

Why even waste time sous videing ribs. I'm a proponent of the method but I think applying it to everything is stupid

Because I can do this well ahead of time and have a bunch of cost effective meals to enjoy into the future with my friends, including today's. By no means am I trying to shove sous vide down anyone's throat, nor am I suggesting that it's a replacement for traditional methods, I'm merely experimenting with it and sharing my results here. Some are just alright, some are great. These beef short ribs kissed with the magic of the grill and some Maldon salt were the shite.

Swung by The Sammich.
Half a lobster poboy with mango cream sauce, chargrilled corn & green bean salad topped with soy sauce and bacon dust, and roasted brussels sprouts with hazelnuts and parmesan cheese.
Not bad at all and affordable. Will stop by again.
