"How does it benefit me?"

On Fox News, Trey Gowdy and Democratic Caucus leader Xavier Beccera sat down to discuss the coming makeup of the House Select Committee on Benghazi:

GOWDY: "I don't run my committees the way Democrats are fearful of".

GOWDY: "I want a process that at the end of it you are welcome to draw a different conclusion from the facts, but I want everyone to say it was fair, it was exhaustive, and we know more than we did when we started."

BECCERA: "Make it a process where we can't be excluded from the interview of witnesses... where we can't be excluded when a decision is made to subpoena a witness. Make it so that we're all in the room when we're reviewing the documents that are supposed to be evidence. What we don't want to be is excluded. We don't want the American public to be shut out."

GOWDY: "How does it benefit me when I have said from day one that I want to transcend politics and I want it to inspire trust in you and our fellow citizens?"

Such a sham. Trey Gowdy Pinhead says he's going to be fair and balanced, so, by golly gee, that's what he's going to be! We should all trust him, even when he has a history of SHOUTING at and harassing witnesses when they've testified in a manner he doesn't like.

We should expect Trey to be non-partisan because, well, he's Trey! He's above all that partisan clownmanship! He doesn't want Democrats to even interview the witnesses and review the documents because only HE, Trey Gowdy Dowdy, is capable of non-partisanship! He wants to transcend politics even though he told the world he would not have an even split on the committee because he wants to retaliate against Nancy Pelosi!

Sure, Doody, you go on insisting that you have no partisan purpose... we are sooooooooo likely to believe you.
