It's excellent. Hope she does well.

Anyone hear if they are still BYOB? I doubt it.

Ate at her pop-up on Burgundy (Who Dat cafe place) several times, and every meal was very enjoyable.

Another article says temporary BYOB until their license comes through.

Why would I go to a place that's BYOB?

I'll just stay at home and save money

Because it's a bottomless club.

I had a review of a meal I had a while back when they were operating out of A Mano's shell.

I'll see if I can find it.

What's with New Orleans restaurants with "milk" in the name?

I'm looking forward to checking your place out as well. Should I arrive with a name tag?

You should try the Milk Oak Oven.

This place is good. Sitting at the bar now with a beer. Menu is very affordable. Started with the lumpia pork eggrolls and the chicken adobo which is practically the cheeseburger of the Phillipines. There's some pretty sweet looking crispy pork dishes on the menu, crispy pig tails, blood stew, thick rice noodles, pork face and chicken liver topped with an egg.

Great addition to Mid-City. I plan on eating my way through this menu for the next few months.

What? Milkfish and Milkbar, there are two..

The lady who runs Milkfish used to work at Rue127 IIRC, funny to open up in a better space next door.

Did she work there?

Pretty sure she got her start with Adolfo at Rio Mar then bounced around in his empire.
