There are some people on here that are very firm in their Christian faith. The man made support for the traditional family and his faith the focus of his campaign. Does it not piss you off when people like this make a mockery of your religion?

quote:

The husband of the staffer caught kissing Rep. Vance McAllister (R-LA) says that while the congressman ran as a religious man who cherished family values, he wasn't actually religious.

"I know his beliefs. When he ran one of his commercials, he said 'I need your prayers,' and I asked, 'When did you get religious?' He said, 'When I needed votes,'" Heath Peacock, 34, told CNN Tuesday. "He broke out the religious card and he's about the most non-religious person I know."

“He has wrecked my life,” Peacock added. “We’re headed for divorce.”

“It was just a kiss, that was all it was, but it embarrassed me and my family. This guy has turned my life upside down," he said.

The couple has been married for six years and have a 6-year-old son, according to CNN.

The Ouachita Citizen on Monday published a video with surveillance footage of McAllister, who is married, making out with his district scheduler, Melissa Peacock.

McAllister has asked for "forgiveness from God, my wife, my kids, my staff, and my constituents who elected me to serve."

Melissa Peacock's husband, however, told CNN "he's apologized to everyone in the world except me."

"I’m just freaking devastated by the whole deal, man. I loved my wife so much. I cannot believe this. I cannot freaking believe it. I feel like I’m going to wake up here in a minute and this is all going to be a bad nightmare," he continued.

Meh...no different than all the lying shitbags on your side of the aisle. I would have rather kept my insurance than worry about some dude getting some strange.

Does it not piss you off when Obama uses gays as a platform when it's convenient for him and shuns them when they aren't? Same shite different story. They all suck when they target the single issue, low information voter.

You could never make a mockery of my religion.

That being said I feel sorry for Vance and he needs the same prayers he looked down on.

*and to answer your question I would point you to our President's flip flop on his same sex marriage stance.

And once the gays earn the hard fought for and well deserved right to marry, can I show them the pay out as follows....

quote:

“He has wrecked my life,” Peacock added. “We’re headed for divorce.”

Fallacy - "Who cares if Dems cheat. They aren't the ones talking about 'family values.'"

bullshite. Plenty of Dems talk about their faith and family values, especially southern ones like John Edwards.

It's disappointing that he's apparently a phony, but I also know that the OP is only gloating because said politician doesn't favor same sex marriage. If the dude was pro-gay rights, toddy would be playing his "let he who is without sin cast the first stone" card.

So to sum up, one phony got exposed, and another phony is happy about it.

It seems anyone touting Christian values as a reason to vote for or send money to, or invest in, etc., is one hell of a reason to turn away and run!

It's what you do and not what you say that counts.

Why doesn't the cheating wife have a hand in this as well? I'm quite sure the Congressman didn't force himself on her.

Peacock is a certified Beta.

Uh see Hillary just last week or Bozo a few weeks ago in a speech. Both of them were playing the game of more pious than though quite well. Bozo won in a photo finish in a mile and a quarter race.

I remember a presidential candidate name Barrack Huesein Obama saying a marriage was between a man and a woman, but after he was elected president, he is all for same sex marriage.
And I remember a Vice President, Al Gore being pro life as a senator from Tennessee but changing to pro choice once he was Clinton's right hand man.

yeah, its kinda like the rat party running on 'income equality' when it is the rats who have the most $$$

BTW, McAllister should step down.

He has made a mockery of the Christian faith and has humiliated his family in the public eye.

I especially feel bad for his children, they did not ask for any of this.

In the political deck of cards ... the religious card is like a 3 of clubs ...

...compared to the King Daddy Ace of Spa--- (errr... you know which suit) race card, which evidently are unlimited and can be played over and over again.

Toddy... I wonder if you'd have such a hard on for this guy if the staffer was a guy and the Congressman was cheating on his same sex spouse.
