I would be excited as shite if that was the first bass I pulled out of a 3yr old pond. Congrats, looks like many more days of good fishing.

This is a common misconception in small bodies of water. Over population is the single biggest issue preventing growth of trophy level fish in small bodies of water. Everyone thinks the same rules that apply to large bodies should also be applied to ponds and small lakes.

It's an unfortunate name that I have petitioned to have changed a couple of times. Evidence of a misguided youth (sure that I am wise beyond my years now, right?). If you were to check a lot of my posts you will see that I respect OM (I wouldn't waist my time reading through a bunch if ignorant ramblings), I just "friendly hate" them at the same time. I appreciate the rivalry a whole lot more than most LSU fans.

And to the OP, nice fish, especially for a pond.
