Looks like decent weather predicted for next weekend.

Hoping to find some trout somewhere, but feel free to tell us what you found anywhere.

I did yardwork all weekend. So I'm good to go!

We hit Lake Decade, Lost Lake and Lake Mechant and surrounding bayous and caught 1 red. Water was very muddy.

Wasn't our day.

Caught 10 rat reds on friday. Could have caught 100 but went looking for bigger reds and scratched.

Nope, really not biting. It sucked. There were 10,000 crawfish boats out there though.

Scratched at the lump. Only boated bonitos (5) and a 6-7' hammerhead. Came back in a bit and caught a five man limit of snappers. Averaged 10lbs though, it was a solid box of snappers. Couldn't manage a single other keeper tho despite trying for AJs mangroves and Warsaw. Oh well when you split the bill 5 ways it was $90 per person so I was happy as shite.

But according to isolunar, it was a 4 fish day. The fish should have been jumping in the boat....

Had an old 200 merc. Loud as hell. Always a great idea to pass 20 ft away from someone going 60.....

Pond hopped today and wore the bass out. Where the grass was thick I fished a speed craw top water and those 12" bass were catching some air going for it. Was a lot of fun. Forgot how much fun pin fishing is

BIL said it was his best day ever for sight casting reds with fly rods, and they've had epic days this year. Hopedale I think.
