Any chance he could have fallen into an old blind/pit? Don't know the area at all...just been reading and this popped into my head.

Ducks right there and everywhere. There is a little island at the north end of lagoon where someone has done a lot of shooting.
Of course the only mallards I saw were by Venetian Isles...

Here is some encouragement - we have dogs show up all the time at the camp, some with collars and some without. We dont find them till we have folks there and that is sometimes a week after they are lost. Point being that he may be at a camp/area where folks dont frequent often. Hopefully this is the case and someone shows up this evening or tomorrow and there is a dog waiting to be sent home!

Just now reading this thread. At first I didn't want to read it because it got me initially pretty bummed out. Ended up reading the whole thing. I hope to hell y'all find him. I know I'd be a damn nut case if my dog was missing in the marsh since Monday. Surely the duck hunting crowd will stumble upon him this weekend.

That's the feeling I am getting.....ain't no way you stumble on that dog and don't realize he belongs to somebody...
Of course if they don't know GSPs....two hours after he is fed he'd be rolling again
The number of people that have poked their heads out there looking for him is mind boggling
