The canal along hwy 11 looks very easy at points to cross. If he make it to 11 he could be in the Irish Bayou community. How about the big levee. Do you think he would have made it to and stayed on the big levee?

I saw your truck by the launch.
Today I rode 11 and walked the Bayou Savage ridge trail just north of Powers Junction, from 11 headed west through woods about 2 miles. Plenty of deer and hog sign, Evidence of hog hunting/trapping, probably Refuge officials with the trapping program.
No dog tracks or other sign of Grizzly.
Prayers sent.
