Make the exemption for dependents a percentage of income instead of a fixed amount.
TheAlmightySmash - by decreasing benefits to the lower class single parent homes. Can't afford to feed their family and mine.
But you should do this first....

re: Backing into parking spots.. - dat yat
One time I had to audit a fabrication company in Morgan City and when I pulled in all of the spots said "Reserve Parking Only", or so I thought. I parked all the way at the end of the lot where there were no signs. When I went inside I commented on how much reserved parking they had. The secret...

re: Buying a new boat... - dat yat
Well this has turned into the Xpress hate thread I have a 2014 H20B and love it.
I have that same model as you and like it a lot too. It gets me out on lakes Borgne and Pontchartrain, on decent days and is great in the marsh anytime. They are good boats for a certain price range;...

re: Buying a new boat... - dat yat
That price is too high, and I like my Xpress H20. In that price range, new, the 21' Nautic Sport is hard to beat. But if you're not in a hurry, wait patiently for a better deal on a lightly used one. What kind of terms are people getting on boat loans; $37K seems like a lot to owe on that b...

We were one of the 60+ boats out there at the lump. We caught several tuna and AJ, missed a bunch, and then caught 3 limits of snapper on the way back. Awesome day to be out there. ...

re: Gonna Tote a Gun Deer Hunting Tomorrow - dat yat
My dad made some trips with me to the camp in Arkansas in 2013 and 2014 when he was about 71-72. We each shot deer and had some good times but I could tell he was not long for hunting. He's still kicking, but can't really walk in the woods or climb (into stands) anymore. Next year he wants to co...

03 Silverado It had 245K when I passed in down to my son 2 years ago; I think he's got about 275K on it now. Repairs, noen until the 9th year, then: Rack & Pinion Wheal bearings Gauge cluster, nothing too serious. He plans to keep it at least until he buys his own house, maybe longer. ...

re: Anyone else get skunked this deer season? - dat yat
It feels like it because I've been skunked at my own land in MS, so far. I found some decent buck sign in a corner that I hadn't hunted in a few years and there are still a couple weeks left. I did get 2 bucks on opening day at the club in Arkansas. That feels like a long time ago now. ...

Is there a place in New Orleans that makes good boudin king cake? The only place I can find is Cafe Cake & Bakery in the Bywater and they only make tiny ones. I need one for Saturday. If y'all cant help me I'm gonna end up trying this myself and I'm not really a baker...[link=(http://boudinli...

It had a similar shape, but it looked about 2-3 ft long, about 1/3 that in width. Quiet. It sounded like a gust of wind coming and made me look up, no motor or "chopper" noise at all. ...

re: Unexpected guests while flying my drone - dat yat
Does the military use a similar drone? One kinda like that flew over my foodplot treetop high last week, near Camp Shelby, MS. I did not get a good look obviously. If it was someone scouting for deer, I'm sure they won't be back.......
