I thought it would be bad and get cancelled before midseason. After watching, I really enjoyed it and think it'll be good for seasons to come.

I enjoyed it a lot. The plot is not completely what I was expecting...and that's a good thing. Fox did well marketing the show to get people intrigued enough to watch (over 10 million people). The trick for them now will be to get most of those people to continue to watch. I know I will.

I went in expecting it to be terrible so I wanted to see how terrible it would be. I came out pleasantly surprised. I'll be tuning in every week.

It was entertaining, and that's all you can really hope for from a pilot episode.

I hated what they did to the original story. I admitted in the other thread that I'm quirky about certain things. Everything else about the show was fine.

All I remember from the original story is, Sleepy Hollow, Ichabod Crane, headless horseman. So they got all that right!

They hinted that it's a seven year pact, so the show could go seven seasons. (not likely though)

I liked the pilot, weird the only two movie stars (Harold/Sulu and Cpt Hadley/Mr. Krabs) were take out so quickly.
Also the guy adapted to being 250 years in the future rather quickly, I would think just a lightbulb would freak him out.
Best part from the previews for the season...
"Why did you drop your gun?"
--"It was empty"
"You only fired one shot"
--"there were more??"

kidding of course, I haven't really every watched that much Grimm, and I still haven't seen the first episode of Sleepy Hollow - will be watching soon though!
