I'm confused. I trained my sisters golden retriever in the kitchen. What are you training it to do?

I live just outside of New Roads and I do have a pond that you can use any time.

I own the empty lot next to my house and most if it is done there. The rest is done at the pond in my neighborhood.

When I was at LSU id go at day light a few days a week before class. Never had a problem working my lab in the big lake in front. The fenced in pond was disgusting and I couldn't stretch her out like I could on the main lake. Plus it was good for her to sit still while the woodies would dump into the pond, wanted to pull that Benelli out on several occasions, lol

Backyard....
Moved to Folsom to have tech ponds and pasture available to train when ever I had the time. Works well for lots of other stuff too. Bonnet Carre is a great idea also. Another option is there are a couple of awesome pros just outside BR, could offer to throw birds for them in trade for training at their place.

I hate a damn pitbull!!! Went to check out that spot, and they had two pits with two piece of trash owners. Of course they they told me they would've ate my dogs if I let them out.
The good pit is a dead pit!!

There's a pond by my house and the school yard field if you want.
Wood ducks and geese, but the neighbors feed the birds and would really not like it if one of the dogs caught one. Also the pond is Stanky in the summer.

I did the majority of my training on the softball fields behind the old lee high school. My buddies used to live on the corner so I could cool off my dogs and get after it again on hot days.
