Some of this advice may not translate but the techniques should. I have a custom hog cooker so set up and temp control are much easier. Best and worst appliance in our house. Regular fridge/freezer ice maker could never keep up with our use. Had a KitchenAid that constantly went out that I replaced with Hoshizaki but even it has already been repaired under warranty.

Count me as a sucker I guess.
We pay $120 a year for our two garbage cans and recycle bin to be cleaned once a month. Special truck comes with hot water pressure washer, they disinfect inside and outside and are gone in less than three minutes.
