lsumanva I am at the other end of L Ont near Nia Falls, but I do hunt the St Lawrence R as well, its good for late season ducks when everything else is frozen. Lots of resident geese in S Ont, if we could only get them out of the city parks and golf courses ;) ...

Goose is pretty good, its mainly what I shoot now, out limits are a little more liberal, early goose is 10 per person, once reg duck season opens up its 5 each. I gumbo a lot of birds. Smoked sausage and goose gumbo, I will cook juveniles on the grill (med rare) they are tasty, make stroganoff ...

My dad’s humpback A5 w/ a left hand safety, 30” barrels and choked full. Old school duck whackin machine. Cant use steel loads but I take it out the skeet range and give it a little love. It needs a fast 1 1/8 load to cycle but as a reloader Im ok w/ that ;) ...
