Black 19 year old Donaldsonville guy killed - where's the outrage?

19 Year old Donaldsonville kid dies of gunshot wound to the head

Found dead and alone after gunshots in the projects.

Where's the outrage? Where are the protesters? Where's Al Sharpton? This kid's "right to life" was obviously violated so where the frick is the NAACP?
Don't they care about black kids being murdered?

If Obama had a son... he'd look just like Brisecon.

These threads are getting really old.
How much longer will you folks be posting this like this every time a black person is killed?

There have been multiple calls for a "national conversation" about these types of things in the wake of the Zimmerman verdict. Why should TD miss out?

Do the police know who the murderer is like they did when Martin was killed? If so, has he/she been arrested? Folks like you don't have a clue. Ask yourself why didn't the much more heinous murder of James Byrd by avowed White supremacists cause less racial division, and outrage among Blacks than the murder of Trayvon Martin. Until you can figure that out, it's a waste of time debating this issue with you.

It's a flawed argument as well. Zimmerman was accused of profiling Martin, cases of black-on-black violence isn't a result of profile. The outrage is coming from people who want to eliminate racial profiling, not mere violence against black people. Please don't let yourselves become as stupid as the ones who think Zimmerman should've been found guilty

This is actually a sad statement on their own mentality that it is more important what some other color is doing looking at you than worried about young people dying by the hands of the same color.

Unbelievable

I agree. I want to eliminate violence against ALL people first and foremost. It doesn't matter to me from whom, and against whom, it is inflicted.

It wasn't a murder.

And by the way, I'd be MUCH more concerned with the fact that Casey Anthony is still roaming free than the fact that George Zimmerman is roaming free.

George Zimmerman is, in my mind, guilty of manslaughter. The jury got it wrong. But is he guilty of murder? No. Both Zimmerman and Martin misunderstood the other's actions and overreacted. A fight broke out and Zimmerman felt threatened once his head was being slammed into the concrete. Martin truly believed he was protecting himself and Zimmerman truly believed he was protecting himself.
It's a very sad situation that neither of us can do anything about. I'm more concerned that the federal government actually wants to seriously persue this as a civil rights case.

fighting idiocy with idiotic points won't change anything. you can't just use another tragedy to "one up" the race baiters

In other words, "profiling" is a greater crime against humanity than murder itself.

What some folks refuse to accept is that the outrage isn't over Zimmerman's murder of Martin persay, but it's over the way the Florida criminal justice system treated Zimmerman. The reason why the murder of James Byrd didn't cause much of a reaction in the Black community is because of the way the Texas criminal justice system treated his murderers.

A sure sign of a poor argument is the use of red herrings to change the subject. This is an entirely different conversation that probably should be had,but it's different nonetheless. Personally, I think that the killing of blacks at the hands of blacks is a conversation, but honestly, it isn't as impactful to me because usually when these murders happen it's because the person lived this lifestyle and it caught up with them.

I don't fear going to New Orleans because I'm not involved in any illegal activities, so while it is possible that I will be randomly murdered, it's highly improbable. There was outrage and protest when those children in Chicago (particularly the little girl who had just returned from the inauguration) were killed. However, I guess you choose to ignore that because it contradicts the narrative that you are so desperately trying to regurgitate.
