So, this was recorded two Sundays ago...RC from Turnpike singing "Morgan Street", backed by Nino and Marco from Dirty River Boys. RC wrote this song, and this is actually how it was meant to sound. It's very different from Evan's version but I love them both. Pretty cool stuff.

He does, and I like that it's a little more bluesy. I think it's cool to hear the song from the perspective from which it was meant to be heard. He wrote "Wrecked" too, and his version of that one is also really good but I don't think we got a recording of it.

He could easily front his own band if he wanted to and I'd listen to them

That's too damn cool, I really like that version. Cotton, I'm glad you mentioned Branan this morning, been listening to The Corner all day- he's a modern day Prine

i had no clue i'd be the boy who your mama warned you about (diamonds & gasoline)

I ran for the hills so you couldn't kill me but damn you cut close to the bone (gone gone gone)

she hides the truth discretely you’d have to take her word aw she’s every song I’ve ever heard (every girl)

Band Tee shirts look like shite on a FatMan, so I'll take a button down Oxford and hv a favorite lyric/ phrase embroidered on the back, under the collar. If I were doing TT, I'd go with:

"I had no clue" ... I'd be the boy your Mama warned you about.

Great line amongst many.

Every Girl and Good Lord Lorrie are such strong songs. Playing in Atlanta for like 12 bucks tomorrow, unreal considering how good TT are.
