re: TDFL Yearly Thread: W6 is our regular season halfway point.. - TTownTiger
Yeah, that was crazy. Down by 11 to start the 2nd half and up by 7 after the first drive of the 3rd....

Damn Allen on my bench. I need Hilton & Moncrief to outscore Forte by 11ish in the 2nd half. Not sure I like my chances if Colts start running it. Edit: and the entire first drive goes to Hilton & Moncrief after I type that...

Yeah true, he threw like 20 IP in the bigs I think. But still, Bregs was considered the top prospect by mid year in some rankings and he played months in the bigs. Still think TB would have to come down from him if that's who they wanted....

Astros might move on to someone like Archer now. If Nats don't have to give up Turner to get Sale, TB probably can't expect to get Bregman in return for Archer (assuming that's what they would've wanted). It would still take our top prospects, but might be worth a look if asking price is just prospe...

re: DAT: Offseason Thread (Winter Meetings happening this week) - TTownTiger
Maybe so. They have shown interest in resigning Napoli and by all reports he wants a 3 year deal. So if it costs $15mm per year for 3 years to sign Napoli, I can't see them not looking hard at EE for 4/5 years at $23-25MM instead. But it isn't my money, so it's easy for me to say that ...

I think he goes to Cleveland, but I told my Rangers friends yesterday I wouldn't be surprised if Texas is connected to EE at some point. ...
It’s possible the Astros will add an ace-caliber pitcher via trade this offseason, but it’s not going to come at the expense of 22-year-old infielder Alex Bregman. Astros executives are telling teams that there’s “no chance” Bregman will go anywhere, reports ESPN’s Buster Olney (Insider requi...

I really like that Forte matchup tomorrow night though. I was hoping to be at least within 15 points after tonight but Cam looks horrible in the pocket other than that long TD pass. Don't like what I'm seeing......
You say that now but look at pujols production now and think about Edwin production in years 3-5 of that deal. If you're going this year alone Beltran can provide 70% of the bat with better baserunning and infinitely more flexibility down the road. I definitely prefer Beltran on this short de...

Would have MUCH rather signed EE instead of Beltran. Oh well. Still good to add another bat either way....
Gattis had a .795 OPS last season versus RHP. He is going to have to play himself out of the lineup versus righties after last year's performance
Good post and possibly so. And I am also giving Yuli the benefit of the doubt that last season was very bad luck as his numbers sug...
Gotta wonder if the CBA talks would affect if/when we sign him
Just read 5-6 articles on E5 so I forget the source it's from, but one mentioned he is probably going to wait for the CBA talks to be completed before signing anywhere. I think it was from one of the yahoo writers. ...
I'm hearing we may have to go 5 yrs on the EE offer.
Yeah, that's the common assumption since he already turned down a 4 year offer from the Jays. He is looking for 5 - $25mill per. The money may be negotiable but everyone assumes whomever signs him will have to give in to that 5th...

Yeah, I didn't read the post above yours. My bad. Just reading your post I thought you were asking where the points came from. I finally get production from my RBs thanks to Ingrams big day and the rest of my team craps out. I had some really good matchups too. That cant happen next week....
I would be very torn about McCan. Would be an upgrade for our lineup and would mean we aren't resigning Castro...both great things. So I love it from a baseball perspective
McCann was pretty damn bad in the second half of last year: .236/.321/.351 and only 6 HR. And that's largel...
