Is that some sort of lemur?

Got to be a story to it. Somebody let it loose.

Ft Adams Mississippi leaving deer camp - Saw a Panther

I have friends that hunt just below there and they've had two reported sightings by two different members of their lease. Albeit, one of them is the camp drunk.

Yes, it's in the lemur family and the assumption is that someone let it/them loose. No one has seen it prior to this year and the first member of the lease to see it, reported bit was eating corn next to a bobcat - CRAZY.

For me, it would have to be the mange infested red fox that I killed in the hayfield by the house several years ago. Except for a little tuft of hair on the very tip of its tail, it looked remarkably similar to the pic BayouFann posted. I saw that thing coming towards me and thought it had to be some kind of exotic African critter that had escaped from somewhere.

Saw an elk around Venice, la after Katrina. Guy had a herd fenced in along hwy 23. Due to flooding, they were all in the pen right by hwy. coming back up the road and saw one crossing the hwy. doubt it lasted to long as somebody had a full freezer!

Used to survey for my summer job in high school. I was chopping line in Woodville, MS and pulled a piece of bark off a tree. Found a small scorpion on it. I know it's an insect but finding one in Mississippi is strange.

This thing was sitting in the road licking its paw when we rolled up on it. We stopped and it stood up and starred back at us for several seconds. Then turned and walked back down the road about 15 foot or so and turned back at us before leaping into the woods.
Apparently its been spotted a handful of times on trail cams just never in person.

They're fairly common where I grew up in AL.

I did see an albino squirrel once. I guess that's strange.
