I've been awake since early this morning and was getting hungry while out picking up lab work today so I decided it was a good day for a muffaletta from Nor Joe Imports. I walked in and was early so I had no problem getting served right away. While it was being made I did a little shopping picking up some things I wanted and a couple of good Italian beers.

Got my sandwich, paid and headed back to the office. Time to eat!
Yeah, I can have a beer, I'm the boss. Lol....

A little closer.

O.K. a bit closer.

Heeeeyyy... now! That's close enough. I don't want you drooling on my lunch!

Don't woory I didn't eat the whole thing. I had a quarter and half of another quarter(3/8's)and it was Deeeelicious!!!!!!
The icy cold Peroni was pretty darn good too!

Don't most prefer to have the olive salad layer touching the bread so it can soak in?

Looks good though. Never tried one from Nor Joe.

Damn. I had "homemade" chicken pot pie from the local sporting goods store. It apparently turns into an anvil once it makes it's way to your gut.

Needless to say, screw you Nate.

Cafe Maspero across from Jax actually does a really good muffaletta

Who "homemade" it, Robin or Jeff? This might be important info. that needs to be on your "chart"..

Not sure who homemade it.. Since there was still enough left to sell I assume Jeff had no hand in it.

Nor Joe makes the best muff outside of maybe Mark Twains, if I could have MT bread with Nor Joe filling, we would have a winner!

I can only eat about half in one sitting as well.....

i like olive salad. A thin spread of it tastes the same as the overloaded portion seen on this sammich though.

That whole sammich is overloaded...not necessarily a bad thing.
