The Odoh Plot Thickens

According to this LINK Coach Johnny Jones has stated that he is not recruiting Odoh. It appears to be anybody's guess where the JC center will end up.

The upshot there is that Jones is throwing in the towel and looking elsewhere - so naturally he's going to say he was never going after him.
Watch and see if we ever play UNT in any sport again.

Sounds like no decision has been made yet and he hasn't been released yet, which is why Jones has denied that he has made contact with him.

He made the grades he needed and is working on moving up to this years class. It is expected that he will enroll this summer and be eligible to play right away

On Odoh, who knows what's going on. This writer said definitively yesterday that Odoh had been released with an LSU restriction. Today, he says he hasn't even started the process.

Moscona interviewed a writer from Denton today who said that Jones told him that he would not recruit Odoh on principal because he had rescruited him at UNT. That said, something has to be up, otherwise there would be no talk of restricting him from coming to LSU.

Why would UNT put in an LSU restriction, its not like we're in direct competition with them via conference ties.. Thats really shady and hypocritical on their part, didnt they just take two transfers in a similar manner?

Since Odoh isn't officially released yet, I'm guessing it's a ploy to stick it to us for taking their coach and a ploy to get Odoh to stay.
Basically if they threaten to restrict LSU he might decide to stay.
I'm guessing jones talks to some people, tells Odoh to stay firm and then he joins LSU.
