I-10 around Gulfport - Biloxi

Headed to FL thursday and looking for a lunch spot around the Gulfport/Biloxi area. Not to far off I-10 and kid friendly. Just don't want to do the usual fast food crap. TIA.

The Shed in Ocean Springs is a pretty cool BBQ joint. quick and easy in and out. Right off the interstate too.

The shed is great in Ocean Springs.... but man, its definitely not likely to be quick. You get there at the wrong time and you have a 30min wait in line. Not to mention the wait for your food...
There is not a lot of stuff right off the interstate other than maybe Los Tres Mexican, which can be marginal at best. Although that place is super fast and its in the Wal Marks parking lot. Everything is else is mostly fast food. North of I-10 they have Sweet Peppers. Ummm, Koi sushi just south of I-10 which is pretty tasty. I've also heard that the hibachi next to Wal Marks isn't bad..... So, looks like Mexican and Sushi.... also some sammiches up north of I-10

Blow Fly Inn is just a few minutes off the Lorraine exit, we've always enjoyed the seafood there.

If you mean REALLY kid friendly, this place has a game room. I love their pizza and wings. Honey hot wings FTW! This will not break the bank either, just a home town joint. Uncle Joe's Pizza and Wings.

Now if you want damn good food, I mean slap your grandmother good, the Old Cuevas Bistro is your lunch stop. It's west of Gulfport in the Pass, but up by the interstate. If you want critical cuisine, this is it.

I was eating and said this is some good stuff, which doesn't normally happen. And the rep responded with Old Cuevas.... which explained alot.
I would definitely go there... if you want great food.

I don't get up there enough. It just seems damn far from old town BSL. Seems like there is always some road construction north of 90. No matter what way you go.

They just opened a Newks right off the interstate on HWY 49 in Gulfport. The Newks Q Sandwich and all their salads are really good!

A few miles north on 49 is O'Neals which has some great shrimp po boys.
Diner like inside and we bring the 2 and 4 year old all the time and let them slam some shrimp.
