LINK

LINK

I know this was all started in "the myth debunked" thread started by the resident USC big mouth. I posted these links on page 6 of that thread and figured not many people would find them. Many of you asked to see the whole play in question so here it is. Notice the movement by the USC right guard and tackle prior to the snap. Blown call no doubt, but it makes the facemask call more painful. If that false start is called, USC is facing 3rd and 15 with about 2:30 left in the game. Hope you enjoy, but I'm afraid it will make you sick.

This is what makes college football great. That was 30 years ago, and it's still fun to dissect and discuss.

As I posted two offensive linemen moved before the snap.

The right guard and right tackle.

The ref on the side line nearest the camera throw a flag which you can not due to the angle of both camera views. The line ref. on the LSU side lines throw the flag.

I was there that night, just say I could see very well and even turned to my brother in law and said movement on the line; when the flag came out at the start of the play.

Also they could have thrown a flag for grounding, McDonald throw the ball to a tackle (68)and no back, te or wr is near him.

Vince Young's knee was clearly down in the 2006 Rose Bowl, but you don't hear me bitching about it.

The one I didn't catch and I can not find on the DVD is when the USC player comes off the bench to tackle Gajan.

Like everyone (including the cameramen) was watching Gajan run and he is tackled, but I didn't see if that person came off the bench.

Mac's show had the LSU game film which clearly showed the player come off the bench to tackle Gajan.

I have 2 verions of the game, USC's and Espn's, there is also a LSU version and Mac's game film.

This sounds kinda Hokie to me.
Can you post a link? We have plenty of time, it's a long off-season.

If somebody throws you a 3-1 fastball, you gotta take it downtown.

The Mac show the Sunday night after the game showed all the plays flags were not thrown on, it was 11 or 16 I can not remember the correct number, but the easiest to remember was the player coming of the bench.

Do not worry about a link, we are trying to track down anyone who taped the game and Mac's show for 3 years now.

But LSU may have the game film still, hard to tell as Broadhead and other SID's throw away a lot of the film.

Hi Doc,
Not sure, why do you ask?

The last week I was working on the 1915 LSU football team, today I have to go to the Library and look up the 1946 LSU baseball team.

Was just watching Death Race, while I did a little catch up work on the 1906 LSU football team photograph, still trying to ID the person between Coach Killian and Captain Read.

Good action movie for those that like action movies.

I remember that game.. I was 13 and LSU got robbed that night by the referees and USC was happy to get out of their with a win. A great Tiger win although the final scoreboard didn't indicate a LSU win..
