I’m actively phasing them out.

They're fun as heck to catch and I've gotten pretty good at catching them on Texoma. The stripers taste great if you get the red out.

Sad but true

I agree with what Salmon said. Seems like half of the hunters up there are from Louisiana.

And more and more states are starting to try and limit out of staters I don’t think it’s a coincidence

I’ll never understand the need of trophy deer hunters to impose their deer harvest restrictions state wide on all deer hunters.

Why do we have to pay for a license to hunt or fish? Let’s start there.

The bass fishing waterways in south Louisiana need to start getting some love from LDW&F before bass fishing in south Louisiana is a thing of the past. All time record lower fish catches from increased fishing pressure all around.

From what the locals up there told me it's the folks from Florida that are the worst.

Serious limit reduction on Ops/Flatheads. Especially the removing of females from nest during spawn by noodling..

One thing I wish Louisiana would do, jack up the out of state prices to match what some of those northern states do to us. Get rid of the cheap license for a charter, make them pay full price. If they want to hoard natural resources, then we should as well.

It’s very simple - they don’t want anyone besides themselves killing anything and they use the “greater good” as justification. “I want everyone to have a chance at bigger bucks, so we will restrict everyone to one 150” 8-pt per year”. They’re short-dicked control freak pissants.

This is what got us into this mess in the first place. Charter license ain't going nowhere.

Correct.

IMO, Louisiana should lead the charge in reducing out of state licensing costs, especially for neighboring states.

Bear seasons in all parishes with appropriate populations. We have about 20 bears on 2500 acres in avoyelles parish and they need some killing.

They just think they are all Jackie bushman and their 100 acre Weyerhaeuser pine tree dump in muledick Louisiana isn't infested with 150" 8 points because the neighbors run dogs and shoot everything.

These are also the same people who will shoot a 2-1/2 yr buck that has slightly messed up horns as a “cull” and don’t want to mess up their genetics. All while they have no clue on actual deer genetics.
