I missed where anyone said they were.

14 inch main beam
Minimum

Reduce buck harvest to two per year. Antlerless can be 4.

Buttonheads count as a buck w no other penalty

Bounties on coyotes and hogs and coons and possums.

State sponsored hog trapping program.

Litter abatement program.

Partner w prisons to allow non violent offenders to earn time off sentence by cleaning up waterways.

I just want bigger deer, cleaner environment and give quail and turkeys a better shot at making it

Why on earth do yall want more mandated restrictions? Manage your property however you want. If the deer are shitty where you hunt, it's because the place is shitty.

Classify crossbows as primitive weapons instead of archery

Develop a single app where you can store, buy, and validate licenses, tags, etc

I agree it doesn't make sense for the whole state but could help in the better areas.

don’t enjoy shooting spikes, but explain how older bucks equates to a healthier herd?

More bucks get to breed which leads to more genetic diversity. The whole rack restriction thing isn't just for trophies.

Puts a size limit of 10” Sacalait minimum and lower the limit from 50 to 25 on the saline/larto complex. The place is getting completely gutted by everyone with a live scope and when word gets
Out they bitting everyone that doesn’t normally fish the place keeps every 6” fish they catch.

This might have the opposite effect you are going for.

By wasting money on this?

Spend it on habitat, NESTING HABITAT, improvements. You can trap all the predators you want, as long as quail habitat is limited, you aren't going to accomplish anything. Our habitat sucks. The only place quail live around me is in sugarcane fields, old pastures, and unmanaged hardwoods, none of which is good quail habitat.

Treat our WMAs like Mississippi does. Set some up for trophy deer growth. Strict antler restrictions
Better wma infrastructure. Not more access but maintain the roads, offer cleaning areas and nice camping areas with bathrooms etc.

Do a 1 for 1 tagging system buck and doe.

Do something about the commercial fishing waste

One of best areas in La for wild quail in La is crawling with Coyotes, coons and a fair amount of hogs

Feral cats are a problem for quail, but nothing compares to habitat loss/ change

Yea, it really becomes apparent when you travel OOS and hunt some public. We are light years behind Missouri and a lot of the Midwest on public. TN/NC even have some nice public hunting areas.

It’s because they don’t have Louisiana folk on them

Why do you say don’t like them but use them? Seems you do like them. Your a walking contradiction, baw.
