Luminox, tritium bezel lights and I've had one for 20 years without a hitch.

My Luminox has the stainless bezel which makes it heavier but probably much tougher than the others. Like I said, I've heard of problems recently but I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one tomorrow if something happened to my current one.

I like the Khaki original, Aviation and Jazzmaster chrono

I really want a mechanical chrono but I like seeing the second hand sweep. It would be so tiny on a chrono.

35 bucks. This is my work/outdoor watch. Wasn't a huge digital fan either but I like this one for its purpose

I have a G shock. I wouldn't technically be out of place being with engineers and IT people all day but I would feel out of place wearing nice clothes and a G shock.

If you aren't stuck on a chronograph, Seiko Monster is the best bang for the buck

I've learned that luminox is to watch as costa is to shades for the OB.

Time to bust out of the stereotypes, guys!

i'm not sure I follow
i wouldn't put luminoxes with costas and yetis as much as I would tags and omegas

i wish more of these watches mentioned had the sapphire crystal but i guess that's putting me in another price range?

You should absolutely get a sapphire crystal. You'll find exactly what you want if you just keep figuring it out. Be prepared to climb out of the rabbit hole, because once you start looking there'll be shite you can't live without.

Here's a quartz chrono with a sapphire crystal and bezel.
