I had a great uncle who was shot down over Romania. All he would ever say was that he was tortured pretty badly, that's about the extent of his war stories.

I cant believe none of us had the forethought to record my Grandaddy either. Both of mine fought over there, one a marine, one in the army, and my wife,s GF was in the navy in the Pacific. I should have spent much more time just listening and learning.

I've got some storied written down from my pow pow about the old days (1920's). Wish I had made some tape recordings or videos. We have some. Just not as much as we should have.

Thanks. I only have to do 3 and I've got one down.

Doc did change my radiation from 7 weeks to 6 weeks so that's good.

OB Docs,

Last night right before bed I broke out with a crazy rash on my arms and stomach. It just popped up all of a sudden. I took Benadryl and went to bed. It was completely gone when I woke up.

Same thing around 9:00 tonight. It pops up from nothing, but tonight it's all over and pretty bad. Big welping rashes. I haven't taken any new medicine, eaten anything strange, or changed detergents. Wtf is up? Wife wants me to go to after hour care.

Sounds like shingles. My SIL had that. Would pop up every now and then. Not sure what she did about it. I think it may be a stress related thing.

What about soap? The only time something like that has happened to me I had used some pink bar of soap.

Shingles only pops up on one side of the body at a time i think, and usually in isolated strips because it manifests from a nerve tract. Also benadryl wont do a thing for shingles.
