This is the second time I've heard that term used in reference to a school of reds. When I hear it I think of dying fish or a jubilee event. Not just a pack of reds in feeding frenzy. That said, I've seen it and it is a pretty cool sight to behold. I can across them in the ST 60s a couple years ago, probably the most impressive feeding frenzy I've ever seen. Reds leading the charge with Bonita, cobia and snapper amongst them.

Btw have you girls sync's up your menstrual cycles? Acting like a bunch of ragging bitches. Jesus

Do you wonder why that happened?

Also, just curious, how many tagged fished have you caught in the area north of Coco Marina?

@ deacon And that won fish's argument.

Anyway, the most exciting thing you can see is that huge school of reds in a frenzy,

I've seen speckled trout boiling the water one mild November morning eating those little pot bellied minnows on a falling tide. We first thought it was redfish. We caught 50 in about 20 minutes. They would hit bare hooks.

I hear you. Look, my whole point is who cares what it's called. The OP was excited about something that happens today and fish jumped him for no reason. I just don't care for people putting others down when they are sharing something they experienced.

Lots of neck hair raised in for sure. Lol.

It's good that we all try to learn asuvh as possible about the animals and environment we all love so much. I see no problem getting terminology correct. Nor do I see any reason to call one man's prize fish trashy. One man's trash being another man's treasure and all.

It was a tough weekend of fishing....I expected this on OT no on outdoor board. We fought hard with chicken for years to get this, we are better than this.

I think we can all agree that a large school of fish in a feeding frenzy on or near the surface is quite a spectacle to behold and one that few people get the pleasure of enjoying.
It also appears that there is some ambiguity (though it appears to be limited) on the term "red tide."
