If it were Mexicans they'd just hit the switches and bounce that sucker out or at least raise it high enough to clear the waterline at high tide.

This is a different spot than the F250 a couple weeks ago. There's now a sand bar area formed on the pass side of Elmers that's really only visible at low tide. Guy probably parked there because it was hard sand, tried to move once the tide rose a little and it was too late.

Didn't read anything else and sure it's been mentioned but worth it again: what is it with that place and white Ford trucks?

Yesterday wasn't bad. I didn't pull anyone out. That is a terrible spot to park though. Btw my ford pulled out many Chevys that's were stuck last week. I just don't park it in the gulf.

I think they need to ban White Fords from this place.

No shite. I go down there all the time, it's never occurred to me to even consider driving out on a sandbar. These guys are fricking retards.

Is it a thing in Louisiana to drive your truck out into salt water?

I don't blame them, seems the first guy got stuck being stupid, the second truck probably parked on a sandbar and waited until it was too late to try to move.

I'd at least be making a couple casts out the bed until help arrived.

I was fishing just west of the point at daylight on this morning, 3 kids ages 18 to 25 came by flying in the truck towards the point!pure horse play! they attempted to hit the water and spin and come back on the exposed sand bar to head back west but never made it!
