re: Taking my dad fishing one last time. - BrotherEsau
I know nothing about fresh water, I'm like everyone else, just want to offer up a prayer. That said, where are you? Gone a guide so someone else can do the hard work. You enjoy your dad. If you can't afford one, I'll chip in via PayPal. Seriously. ...
Didn't a guy in Nola east years ago shoot a guy breaking in his car from his second story apartment balcony? How was that outcome? Here is your answer...
Yep, that guy claimed the kid turned toward him with what he thought was a weapon. Grand Jury believed him apparently. Goo...

re: SLIDELL homeowner kills man acting 'erratically' in his yard OP UPDATE - BrotherEsau
Happy to shed light. Our laws are very much in favor of the homeowner and car owner. You have to frick up pretty badly to truly run afoul, like by shooting a a guy who walked up your steps and rang the wrong doorbell a la the Japanese exchange student years back in Baton Rouge (though I think that...

re: SLIDELL homeowner kills man acting 'erratically' in his yard OP UPDATE - BrotherEsau
If the guy was breaking into, or attempting to break into his vehicle, he doesn't need to!
Untrue actually, unless the shooter was in his car. Louisiana castle doctrine allows you to use deadly force to stop or repel a forcible entry into your home or car, when you are inside of i...

re: Thoughts on Simplisafe's security system? - BrotherEsau
I've had SimpliSafe for about three years now. No issues, great service. If I set it off, they call within 2 minutes, usually less. I've also had them call the cops before when both my wife and I did not answer. No issues with the equipment, other than the keypad seems to run through batteries...

re: Visiting Arlington National Cemetery this week. - BrotherEsau
It's a humbling experience visiting that place. Lots of American heroes buried there.
It really is. Took my 9 year old there last year. We got there late and only saw the last changing at the tomb of the unknown. Amazing experience. We tried to stop and read as many markers as we c...

re: QB help this week - BrotherEsau
Oh. I feel like he only put up 15 vs Cleveland, hasn't tipped 20 but a few times. Kind of low ceiling. Stanford may be in a shootout w Dallas on Monday. Seems he may have a slightly better shot at 20+ and I need the high ceiling. ...

re: Examples of our "throw away" culture. - BrotherEsau
My buddy down the street was throwing out a bag full of craftsman cordless tools - drill, hammer drill, circular saw, jig saw, reciprocal saw, a few other things. I asked why. He says "it needs new batteries. They won't charge." So I took the whole bag. Now I have a duffel bag full of used power...
