Stole from LA Sportsman. I bailed from there early this morning. Does the OB have any members present on the island for onsite updates and correspondence?

Jeez, it's another white one too. White trucks matter.

I think its a conspiracy against Ford trucks.

Thanks YOURADHERE, instantly made my day better.

My question is, and I've never been to Elmers, is why did he park there compared to the truck in the back ground. Is it just pure stupidity or am I missing something? To me the obvious answer is you dont wana park so close you can fish out of the bed of your truck.

I will be there at the end of august and I drive a Ford. These threads now have me gun shy

Ford's should just stay off of Elmers.

Is that even a 4wd?

It looks like he is on the same sand bar that the F250 was stuck on. When the tide is out its fine to drive out on the bar, but if you drive off the sand bar any at all you will sink.

Moral of the story: Don't drive in the water!

Guessing he was driving on the sandbar and got stuck, truck looks 2WD. Most people park far enough away from the water so there's no worries.

There's also been a ton of people getting stuck in the soft sand before you reach the hard pack on the beach. If you have 4x4 you'll fine, but I pulled out 13 people last Saturday. Pulled out another guy yesterday and there were 3 more stuck but I bailed and went fish.

I brought my truck to an alignment shop and asked if they could fix it. When he asked what was wrong I told him it pulled a little toward the Gulf. :rimshot:

1- If it were Messicans, it'd be a Toyota.
2- If it were Messicans, they would have that bad boy out.

Racist.

That being said, he's offering free sheet rock work to anyone that can pull him out.

If it were Mexicans they'd be towing another white f150.

Whoever pulls him out must make him put "IN TOW" in duct tape on his back glass.
