Proud Papa : 8 Year Old's 1st Deer

On the same lease I killed my 1st deer. Let him shoot a youngun yesterday afternoon, but he was awefully excited! Ive been wondering if I could make an outdoorsman out of him.... He said his heart was pounding!

Congrats! What an awesome day
On a side note- it amazes me how a kids accuracy is so much better than adult. My 6 year old son killed his first hog and buck last year at 120 and 138 yds after practicing a couple times over the summer.
I can take a kid from church hunting for their first time and they will smoke one every time. Take their dad for their first time and you're looking for a hit deer for 2 days every time.....idk
