Got my new billet lower today. Getting it engraved Saturday. Got a Daniel Defense LPK, JP Enterprises buffer, and a pistol buffer on the way. This will be a whore of a lower and will serve mainly as a 300BLK host but I will also run a .22, 5.56, and 9mm on it.

Nice and quick, appreciate the business

So I ordered a nickel BCG, and it came in yesterday and holy shite, this thing is slicker than snot. I compared it to my BCM BCG and there is an obvious surface differece, my BCM feels like 100 grit sand paper in comparison.
I'll post pics later today when I get home.

Fail Zero? I've been thinking of running one in my SBR because of the suppressor. Waiting for pics.....

How hard is it to change out the FSB with a low profile gas block? Is it something I can do or a gun smith has to do it? I wanna put a foldable front on it instead of the fixed.
eta: just saw a youtube. Doesn't look that hard.

I don't like your trigger

I swear, I love to look at well-machined, slick things like that.
Not as much as titties, but close.

My trigger says the feeling is mutual.

It was a pleasant surprise honestly. I have a rubber city BCG, and I thought that think was pretty slick, but this one blows even that one away.

That is coming together nicely.

Thanks... I'm piecing it together slowly, but surely. I just bought a 12" fortis rail from Burgeman, just need to figure out my barrel now.
I think I'm going to color in all the northtech roll markings either white or a light silver.

Some good deals with free shipping at DSG arms. Some worth noting: Magpul MBUS Pro, $125 for the front and rear set (best price I've seen on these), Pmag 10 pack for 89.00, DD lpk 79.00
ETA: sorry, just noticed the free shipping is only on orders over $99. Also you have to log in to get the sale price.

Fellas I have the funds saved to start an AR10 build. $1,300 not including optics. I'm looking to build something similar to a HK 91 setup with at least 20" barrel and a solid stock.
I've started my hunts but not finding a whole lot to choose from. I've subscribed to slick guns a few weeks ago but I'm seeing mostly dpms or equivalent. Any tips or links to get me going in the right direction are much appreciated. Is my cash flow too small to realistically build a higher end model? Thank you AR gurus.

Yes.
The new DPMS G2s are not bad guns, more than likely they will outshoot most shooters.
If you want a "high end" gun, buy a mega upper/lower and then get a bartlein barrel for it. Add a good trigger and then fill the rest with whatever parts you desire. $1300 will get you started, but not all the way there.

AR10's are expensive. Why not get a 6.8 and be able to swap lowers? (is this right? Can't remember if 6.8 has that ability)

Have you decided on which scope you are choosing?

I am probably going to go with the vortex, still haven't got it in tho. I really do like the PA, just can't get past Vortex lifetime warranty especially with this rifle possibly riding in the trunk of my car.

I'd go 6.5 Grendel over 6.8. Alot better ballistics especially if you're looking to go past 300yd.
