75 miles out in a 19' Cobia CC, 25 miles out in a 18' Carolina skiff. Both trips straight south out of Biloxi. Wouldn't do either in a shallow-sided bay boat though, that'd be crazy if a squall kicked up.

Rode a 32' searay from madisonville out to ship island. Spent the night. Rode it in while there was a small craft warning form Morgan City to Pascagoula. Tight spot.
Dropped the women in Bay St. Louis. Was damn glad to hit the Rigolets.

Wouldn't take a bay boat out too damn far in the Gulf.

This thread reads funny if you're a MS guy. We run straight to brush island from Henderson point regularly and that's a haul. 20+ miles. Often it's crowded at isle au Pitre and that's 10ish. MS guys regularly fish Chandy from bay boats and thats 30+

25 miles out past Last Island in a 13' Boston Whaler with a 40 Yam. It was dumb to say the least, but he assured me we were going to catch. Ended with one 72lb lemon and one snapper.

I've been out to Blue Water but was in a dual-hull catamaran with two Honda 200's on the back and an experienced owner driving. I read through this thread yesterday afternoon. The talk about 18-19' foot boats going out for me is crazy talk.

Y'all got some cojones mayne.

Midnight lump out of Venice, so about 25 miles out of tiger pass.

Did this once then headed I believe south west to a couple rigs. So not sure how far mileage wise we ended up but I know we brought 15 gallons of gas and used all of that getting back in. The gulf was damn near slick calm that day so it was a perfect day of fishing. Well other than the 21' Sea Pro being kinda cramped.

Had a mess of fish and one hell of a sunburn when we got back that evening.
