Yesterday I threw a change of clothes in my dry bag for the unlikely event that I fall in during the next few months. The water is cold. Wear the life jackets.

Prayers sent.

I know of a few -- depends a lot on where he fell (in a canal, or in a bayou with current).

And it'll depend on how long he is in the water. I was in the Pigeon area two days ago (Thursday), and the water temperature was 54 degrees just about everywhere I fished. Hypothermia is a big deal, even whe the air emperatures are warm.

He'll be in our prayers. Best wishes for a good outcome.

Thanks man.. My sister just told my niece. I'm not the most optimistic person, but I hope he turns up alive.

I have an aunt that got stranded overnight on a canoeing trip with her son. Basically they took a wrong turn and ended up staying the night on the shore with little food and water. She is a single mom so we didn't figure out she was missing until mid morning the next day. We found both her and my cousin alive and well.

Many prayers for your family tonight. Don't lose hope.

Prayers sent.

My nephew ran out of gas on red river in a horrible lightning storm. Was by himself for at least 4-5 hours. His mom (my sister) thought for sure he was gone.

But, he finally swam to shore about 9 that night. He had ditched the boat a mile from the launch and walked the rocks.

Keep positive and have faith.

I believe this weather is suppose to blow through pretty quickly so they should be able to pick up the search again soon.

Yes I have heard of searches ending up good. Heard of a guy on Toledo stranded on a stump over night in a storm.
