So sorry for your loss MSG.

We lost my uncle 5 years ago November 15th. He had a seizure and fell out of the boat. His 9 year old (who is legally blind- has a very rare eye condition where he sees like an albino does- can see at night or with sun glasses) was with him and jumped into the water to try to save him. He couldn't though because of the violent convulsions. Kid couldn't start the motor so he swam back to the camp to get help...

Til this day, It breaks my heart to think about it and I miss him so much. My little girl was born on his birthday that year, strange how those things happen... If anything it has increased our awareness to wear lifejackets anytime we are in the boat (a lot of us did not want to).

I will keep your family in our prayers.

Thanks.. His daughter (my niece) is 16. I'm sure there's a lot of things she'll miss out on. Good thing my sister is remarried and her husband and my niece are very close. But nothing will replace her daddy.

I found this site and thread doing a search for him and this is what i have....

He's driven that boat several time. 3 people were in another boat with supply's. They passed him and got to the camp for a few minutes and then realized he should have been there by now. Then the search was on. No one knows exactly what happen. Wind, lilly's. stump, lost balance, etc. Anything could have happen. And no, he wasn't wearing a life jacket so if you can, please leave the coulda, shoulda, woulda comments off. THANK YOU. Ive been really really good friend with him (and roommate for a while) since about 1990. Brent had friend everywhere and would drop what he was doin to come help even if you didn't need any. I miss him so much allready. I just left his parents house and....

For the people that know him, the arrangement's are...
Green Oaks on Florida from 4-9 Thurs. and 10:00 Fri.

Bird,I hope you and your brother are doing well considering. I'm sure ill see yall Thurs. Its been a while since Ive seen yall. This is G***. The one that had the blue ZX9. Take care
