First order of business for any truck I get is a new set of BFG Mud Terrians.

I have a 2010 Crewmax 4X4 5.7L. I bought it 2 years ago with 38K miles. Up to 76K miles now. Haven't taken it to the shop for anything. Still has original 20" BFG AT tires. Went to Amzoil in the engine/transmission diy at around 50k. I love the truck. MPG is 17-18 hwy to work and back, with 18.7 best so far. That's driving easy. It has incredible power, and if you like to feel it, it will cost you mpgs no question. I get about 13mpg pulling a medium sized boat, and 15ish with heavy stop/go driving. I get 8-12mpg pulling a camper (depending on wind/hills), but never starve for power-ever. That's all doing the math. The computer has my average at 15.2 right now. That's everything over the last 1-1/2 years - all driving, camper/boat towing. I have only engaged in light off road driving. Never got stuck yet, but I surely wouldn't attempt things my '96 Tacoma could go through. I don't have a single complaint. Truck is very comfortable and has tons of room

Did I mention it is a full out beast?

FWIW, KM2s suck also. The original tread pattern was much better. The new ones are only good on rocks

Been in some nasty shiz with the new BFG MT's. Cleared well. Pulled well. Not a Swamper TSL by any stretch but they do the job and stay quiet for the most part if you rotate regularly.

I have been pretty unimpressed with them when I have seen them in mud. They didn't clean well in sticky mud

Why do companies mess with a good thing? I'm pissed Mickey Thompson screwed up the ATZs

Buddy of mine always has different Tundras (family owns dealerships) and he loves them. He's currently in a 2014 Tundra 1794 edition and I must admit it is a very very nice truck. It's the Tundra's King Ranch equivalent...pretty sweet rig, and definitely not lacking in tech to whoever it was that said Tundras don't have good tech.

I was chapped with BFG for the change and no, it's not near as good as the old ones but they do ok. I also like the Goodyear MT's and the Toyos are ok. I have run every kind of mud tire there is.

I had good luck with them on one of my Jeeps. I'm running Trail Grapplers on my Tacoma and really like them. I'd love them if they weren't so heavy.

Went to look at sizes if the ATZ yesterday, and turned out pissed off. I have them on my truck now, and wanted to continue having them on every truck for the foreseeable future. They are just flat out the best aggressive ATs.

I am hoping I can find some by the time I get a new truck

I have a 2012 white Tundra crew max, I absolutely love it. I drove a 09 Tacoma before that and it was my baby. It got totaled and probably saved my life, no damage at all to the cab the front just crumbled.

I've got an 11 with 98k. Most sound vehicle I've ever owned. I couldn't get 15 mpg if I was being towed

Can't put a toolbox and four wheeler in a crew max. Hell, I couldn't even fit just my toolbox in one
