re: Anyone here run E85 in their car/truck? - Tiger-Striped-Bass
I haven't, but I'm pretty sure in my owners manual (flex-fuel vehicle), it calls for more frequent oil changes when running E85. Just a heads up...

re: Advice for Petsafe wireless fence system - Tiger-Striped-Bass
I had the wired system. Cut through my driveway and all. Both male and female were fixed. They were bitter competitors in all things and I blamed their escaping on that. They always tried to outdo each other. When they got out, it was like they were running the kentucky derby. After I no longer had ...

re: Advice for Petsafe wireless fence system - Tiger-Striped-Bass
Let me clarify. I did the full-bore training on a leash, then with the collar without correction etc, for the full duration with flags and all as specified - by the book. Everything was fine for probably two years without a single incident. It was not an instant failure. I swore by it to many peopl...

re: Advice for Petsafe wireless fence system - Tiger-Striped-Bass
I had two labs contained in about an acre an a half. Afterwards, the neighbor across had a single lab contained in one with the same results I had. Eventually, they do not respect the shock anymore. I progressed to the point of 2-9volt stubborn dog shockers on each collar, and eventually got to 4 la...

re: 2 Officers shot in Ferguson...Video in OP - Tiger-Striped-Bass
Send in black cops, they should be able to handle the situation at hand.
Remember, that would be racist too. Besides, there just are not enough to go around for a variety of reasons. But then too, look at the video of the homeless guy "Africa" in L.A. The black cop didn't seem to f...

re: 2 Officers shot in Ferguson...Video in OP - Tiger-Striped-Bass
The real answer, is to draw from this cesspool of subhumanity in order to staff the force with less white officers. The cesspool is the larger demographic, and should be represented accordingly in the force. Then Ferguson could finally move on and go back to being Mayberry. When is everyone going to...

re: chain pickerel.. Has anyone caught many of these? - Tiger-Striped-Bass
I caught this one in Lake Bouef. I don't think they are very common around this area.
I've never caught one there specifically, but as a kid 20+ years ago, I'd catch them that size dragging for grass shrimp in canals off of Lac Des Allemands. I remember looking it up in the shcool ...

re: Game camera sensitivity question - Tiger-Striped-Bass
Not familiar with that particular cam, but I've seen some that you have to select daytime or 24 hour coverage. 6"? Maybe try backing it up a little? I may be wrong, but I thought the way they sensed motion required a temperature difference by the subject in order to be sensed. I remmeber tha...

re: Pirogue pronounciation - Tiger-Striped-Bass
Swamp cajuns pronounce it the French dictionary way, consistent with the "gue" rule (no gue is ever silent), the way it's been pronounced where it originated (our cultural version), since it originated. Prairie cajuns and those north of where the pirogue orginated and where it historically had very ...
