4x4 decreases it.

I avg 17. If I'm pulling trailer with sidexside about 14. Pulling 5th wheel about 10.

If you drive slow it can be better than 17. Hell I get better fuel mileage than my wife's Expedition.

I must have a heavy foot. My 2013 f150 5.0L gets pretty close to those numbers.

Might just be the truck. I get about the same in my 2013 F150 4X4 crewcab as well. I have the 5.0l

don't do it, once you drive a 3/4 ton diesel you'll never be able to go back to a regular truck

my 2013 XLT 5.0L 4x4 (off-road pkg and 20s) with 3.55 rear end gets an overall of 17mpg
70-75mph = 17.5-17mpg
55-60mph = 19-18mpg
city = 16mpg
pulling 20' boat @ 60mph = 13.5mpg

A few months ago i went to S. Texas in an 2012 F350 FX4 doing 85mph we averaged 9-10mpg

Same truck minus 4x4 and 20s. I don't get those numbers. You must drive like a pussy.
ETA: The 70-75 and 55-60 are the same. My city doesn't touch 16. 13-15. But I only drive about 5-10 miles a day at best.

Lariat's get better MPG due to less driver weight.

Call it what you want but I drive lots of back roads with few stops and I don't haul arse unless I need to. I'm not the fastest driver but I don't need to be. You can't go any faster than the guy in front of you

I have the same package except that I have 18's instead of 20's. Didn't like the feel of the 20's especially not for what they cost. I have a lead foot so I average around 16.

75-80= 18
55-60= Who knows? rarely at that speed.
City- 14.5-15
Hitting that accelerator a bit much from red lights.

Pulling 16' trailer- 13
