Y'all have no idea how much those models are worth built and complete.
Time and money to build doesn't always equate worth a lot of money on the market. Good luck trying to sell them.

Looking for a quick flip, no.
If you can afford to hold it awhile, you might recoup your investment.
I see a very low profit margin.

You learn quick doing this that something is only worth what someone else is willing to pay for it. I've had antique furniture valued at $1000 plus sell for as little as $50.

If you think you can flip it and profit at least $2k within a month I would go for it.

Especially something that is so niche as model planes. People that have these, like to build them, themselves.

I tend to agree. Would be a huge pain in the arse to ship as well. For $2-4k I'd probably do it and keep snap on for myself.

I say do it and find that specialty market.

There is a shite load more in there than $16k. I can't believe someone would walk away from that stuff. If the radios are in there then it's a no brainer, I'd have to assume they are. The engines on the plains and helicopters were more than $8k. That 18 wheeler cab looks awesome. I still can't believe someone would walk away from this stuff. Someone in his RC club would kill for this locker. His family has to know about this hobby and wonder where it all is. This is about the most serious stash you could ever amass, outside of induction fan models.

I can see $2000 max for the Snap On. The 4 wheeler under the tarp intrigues me the most.
Empty or full?

I highly doubt 8K will stay lowest bid. Still have 8 days left.

The fact that you're even considering this is the reason why some people feel the need to control how much doctors make

In all honesty it will probably get pulled. The defaulted tenant has until auction end (and actually until cash payment is made) to satisfy the debt. I prefer live auctions so I've bid on probably a half dozen of these only to have most pulled within the last 48 hours.
I was high bidder on an epic one up to $3500 with 6 brand new super swamper radials, sail boards, rims, etc. Got pulled with 12 hours left.

Hey some docs like playing golf at Pebble Beach, I like to buy other people's abandoned shite.

judging from the tire, rim and part of fender I can see, the atv looks like a Polaris Trail Boss. prolly worth about $1500 if it runs.

Hell yeah I would. Of course, I just spent a $150 on a talking R. Lee Ermey action figure. Extra Salty edition.
