People join freely and are welcome to leave when they like. Outsiders are so intimidated, it's sad. Perhaps you should open your mind to the possibilities that are you and fully understand your potential.

The cultish behavior. The hard sell to participate in more training. The constant mention of their religion, but no mention of God. They simply acknowledge a supreme being that is unique to you. Carrot on a stick spiritual growth that is a well structured spend more money to move up the so-called "levels." There's more, but that's enough.

But I also believe people should be more informed about how some of these so called religions operate.

Is anyone in here arguing the show should be shut down?

How so?

Did you read the post I responded to? In short, "Get back to me when the Christians do something as fricked up as breaking up families."

Do we need to run down the list of all the fricked up shite that Christians have done? We can go old school or we can keep it recent. Up to you. But I don't think you want to go down that road.

It's withering away on its own. I've seen varying membership figures but the most generous estimates are way less than 100000 worldwide.

That's what happened to me back in 1992. I took a simple personality test and mailed it to a box office . Got a call and I met with this gentleman at a dianetics office on Jefferson HWY. He sold me a book for twenty dollars. I went to the Main Library and did research in dianetics. That's when I learned that this was a church and not a counseling center.

There is one huge hole in your argument. The New Testament is a book of eye witness testimonies to all of the miracles Jesus performed. Jesus is not some made up character, historians pretty much all agree that he existed. The only argument about Jesus is the resurrection. That's where Christian faith comes into play.

Nope. His supposed existence does not make the miracles he performed real.

The question is who do you want to give the authority of deciding what's a religion and what's a cult?

When the punk arse US government caved and let them keep that billion dollars that they owed in back taxes, their silly cult was galvinized for all time. Those sick fricks are here to stay unfortunately.
