Now I want you to write an account of the US Revolutionary War using only oral history
That is a modern comparison of the writing of the Gospels

Let's not take this thread off the deep end, but your examples were things widely mentioned by early Christians. Heck, belief of the extent oh his divinity and humanity caused a schism in the early church.

I'm just pointing out the hypocrisy of a Christian bashing another religion.
Honest question, if Christianity were started tomorrow, would you be a believer? Or mock the leader?
ETA: You know the answer but don't want to admit it. If Jesus showed up tomorrow with the Bible and told you this was the word of the Lord, you would laugh at him.

Only difference is time. Both religions are founded on irrationality.
You know it's true but your fragile mind doesn't want to face reality.

People should be able to decide they no longer believe in a specific religion, leave the church, and not be shunned from family and friends who still are in that religion.
Scientology doesn't allow that. You leave the church of Scientology and you are married...your spouse has to now leave you because the church has now deemed you an enemy of the church. Your mother/child/sibling/friend/grandparent/grandchild has to disown you forever or they too will be kicked out of the church and also deemed an enemy of the church.

Good one.
Can't explain "false equivalency" and can't continue the debate... so he resorts to insults and accusations.
I was raised a Catholic. K-12 in Catholic schools.
