Will insurance companies play a big factor in ending the anti vax movement?

health insurance companies basically saying "if you dont vaccinate your children (other than for legit medical reasons) you will get zero coverage from us when your child gets some preventable disease"

anyone think that health insurance companies have the power to essentially stop this movement in its tracks?

They'll deny coverage, yeah. Absolutely.

Then, idiot's children will be stopped in their tracks.

Ignorant wing nuts. Standard vaccinations should be mandatory nation wide. Simple as that.

denying coverage to children of the anti vax parents, not of children with poor immune systems that got something from the tard children.... is it really going to take a bunch of children dying to do something?

Hopefully, natural selection will take care of things.

Insurers care about your money.

Not your kids.

Nationwide should have included "not being vaccinated" as a reason for preventable childhood deaths.

Don't confuse denying the cost of healthcare with denying healthcare. It would be a beautiful thing if the burden of cost of preventable illness was given to those who refuse to prevent it. It will also probably never happen.

My son went in for his two month check up today and got his shots like a boss.

Take that Jenny McCarthy!

I think Americans should be way more worried about insurance companies dropping them bc of the most prevalent childhood preventable disease. Obesity!

Sadly, those poor kids had no choice and still have no voice in this. And they are the ones that will pay for having idiot parents that listened to Jenny McCarthy and her ilk.

I'm not anti-vaccination but you people are just as bull headed and ignorant as the other side.

It's not the lack of vaccinations for the hippie chicks, it's the unvaccinated Messicans they keep letting in that flock to Calofornia.

I'm not anti-vac but I am pro freedom. Let people do what they want.

The vaccinated children have nothing to fear from the unvaccinated if the shots work (except for thos too young to vaccinate I suppose).

I don't get upset about individual decisions.

You answered your own questions. MMR not done until 12 months. A lot of little ones with less developed immune systems wide open for that shite.

Therefore, their problem becomes ours. That isn't freedom if you ask me.
