re: Harmony remote question - Hopeful Doc
Yeah...I don't like no screen because you can't select an individual component to control. ...

re: Harmony remote question - Hopeful Doc
Dad's responds to "turn on the TV" and all the activities. Hers does not. I think the big problem is that she has only a Roku and no real "channels" to go to and turn on (nothing autoplays). So i changed some things around, and now I can launch apps from Roku, but from there, she has to use the re...

re: Harmony remote question - Hopeful Doc
This is the cheapest option to switch to one remote for you. Firestick has no IR, so even though you may have everything in Line of Sight, an IR remote can only use CEC commands (limited function, it will eventually annoy you). This one can talk to it over Bluetooth and do a much better job. ...

re: Harmony remote question - Hopeful Doc
That model is good. You will not find it cheaper. Usually on Amazon you can get the hub + keyboard (sans remote) for about the same refurbished, which was always an anomaly to me that it could be found cheaper than the remote + hub. The cheapest I've seen remote + hub is ~$90. The hub with u...

re: How old were you when you stopped going to a Pediatrician? - Hopeful Doc
I switched from a pediatrician to a Family doc when I was 5 or 6. Either the pediatrician and I had unresolvable differences of opinions on who the better Mr Conductor from Shining Time Station was, or he moved away. I forget. ...

re: Would I hurt/break my Denon receiver (5.1) if I only plug in 2 or 3 speakers - Hopeful Doc
You will not hurt it unless you also hook up cables and cross +/- where you don't have speakers (but I'm not thinking anyone with enough know-how to use the internet would do that) LCR is probably the most preferred 3-channel set up. You get good soundstaging and an enhanced theatre viewing exper...

re: What's your opinion on vaping? - Hopeful Doc
Originally I thought it would be a good "habit breaker" for folks cutting back on cigarettes, but most people who vape wind up using both cigarettes and vaping, so I don't recommend it as a step down. It also seems to encourage nonsmokers to start in my experience and there is some decent eviden...

re: Tick bite has red bullseye around it - ER or doc in the box? - Hopeful Doc
See your primary care doc in the morning or the next day. If you start having fevers or generally feel bad, re evaluate how bad you feel and consider more urgent evaluation. But for just a rash without rapid spreading, pain, etc it's ok to hang for a day. ...
3) Cost from complications as a result of a procedure (MRSA infection, etc.) are borne by the provider.
Either providers severely limit the people they work on (IE- they'd never operate on smokers as an entire group again due to the complication rate), and/or they raise the pric...
3G/day tylenol. That's interesting. How does this affect a person who is in pain to the level that they don't eat and drink.
Well, that's obviously an underdosing and would promptly be stepped up to other means quickly, even including opiates. [link=(https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.go...
