Annnnnnd I just got wood.

I've actually hugged a missile tube while we launched a test missile... I could feel it in my balls as the missile left the tube.

Navy wins.

Y'all saying Air Force are dumbasses.

One, the planes would get shot out of the sky with a quickness. Sure you've got the stealth bomber, but that is only good for a handful of missions then at some point it would be shot down too.

Two, the Navy can attack on land with Marines and SEALs. Who's gonna be there to defend the invasion when the Navy has already destroyed every single base that isn't a USMC or USN base? There would be no standing army anymore. Not like the Army could stop the USMC/SEALs anyway, but whatever.

Three, one word, submarines.

Four, Navy pilots>>>>AF pilots

I'm glad y'all all read Wikipedia, but y'all are off on the boomer numbers. There's 14 boomers, 20 missiles due to the new start treaty, and I'm not saying how many nukes because it's classified. But 12 is too high. How do I know? I did 7 years on 2 different boats.

I think Trident D5's are capable of up to 12... but it was limited by one of the treaties.

Forgot about the 4 tubes welded shut. Even then, with 20 tubes at 6 warheads per Trident II instead of 12 (for things like dummy warheads, decoys, underloading, etc.), that's still 240 warheads coming down from two SSBNs. That was really my point: Less about exact numbers and more that SSBNs really are on a whole different plane of "Motherfricker, I'll take us both down".

More information would be needed to better answer this,

Which judging by that post, you are severely lacking.
