enough that the germans and russians didn't dare risk invading. they knew the war would end right then and there.

Who has the most nukes?

Army. Air Force shuts down GPS to counter the Navy and the Army takes advantage by quickly rolling through AF bases.

That's the point I was making. Our Boomers ensure that while someone like Russia can still wipe us off the planet, we'd still be able to wipe them off rhe planet as well. Thus, it's not worth attack us to begin with because to do so would only bring about their own destruction as well. Basically we've made a first strike against the US unthinkable.

No other branch would be able to touch the air force. You can defend air attacks on the ground by launching missiles. If there isn't the ability to pick up stealth aircrafts on radar then there is no way to stop that.

With that said, the Air Force does need the navy in order to launch certain attacks so the AF wouldn't have the ability to use aircraft carriers, etc. But the navy would be limited to where they could fight.. But I guess they could put their assets in waterways throughout the US. More information would be needed to better answer this,

There are navy bases all over the world. That's how forward deployed ships are replenished.

If that doesn't work out then you become pirates. It worked hundreds of years ago... don't see why it wouldn't work now.

Find a merchant ship, surface, let him know you have a torpedo locked onto him, take whatever supplies you need.

Looks like Team Navy will win this fight. The rest of you idiots can't even figure out a simple plan.

I mean in times of war you do what is necessary to win. If that means resorting to piracy to keep your mission going then so be it.

If it ever came down to the branches of the US military fighting each other then I'd expect worldwide chaos anyway.

Besides, how fricking awesome would it be to be on a pirate submarine.
