re: Finnish Prime Minister not sorry for partying - bubblehead26 on 8/18/22 at 11:31 am She was on an episode of "Somebody Feed Phil." Fine as hell then too... Posted on O-T Lounge Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0) |
re: So WSJ says some classified docs. Were the agents that viewed them to seize cleared? - bubblehead26 on 8/12/22 at 2:33 pm Ding ding. Even if for some reason they don't, they would be debriefed.
Stupid post... Posted on Political Talk Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1) |
re: California quail - bubblehead26 on 8/2/22 at 2:23 pm I have a family of about 10-15 in my backyard. Started with 5 or 6 in the fall, they had babies and now they are all over. They migrate down the hill behind my house every morning after the sprinklers shut off to feed on bugs in the grass. Make some unique calls as well... re: Pools - Saltwater vs Chlorine - bubblehead26 on 6/27/22 at 10:49 am An option that is rarely, if ever, discussed is putting an ozone generator in. I have one for my pool and it cuts down the chlorine usage dramatically. Crystal clear water, still able to open eyes under water, plus you're not using all of these other chemicals to keep the water in check.... re: Are there businesses that are NOT LGBTQ+ friendly? - bubblehead26 on 6/21/22 at 11:04 am It's almost as if they have to publicly support it, or at least show a front that they do, or they'll be publicly shamed by the alphabet crowd and others who want to gather retweets and likes on facebook. I could care less, just provide good service in a non-obnoxious environment.... Posted on Political Talk Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0) |
re: Dem Sen. Debbie Stabenow drove her electric car from Michigan to DC - bubblehead26 on 6/7/22 at 1:30 pm
From empty to full it takes an EV about 8 hrs to fully charge
Eh??? Chargers are rated at like 250-300 miles per hour right now. Plus most chargers are around food and bathroom stops. I don't disagree she's a moron, but don't knock timing of driving an EV... Posted on Political Talk Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (2) |
re: Mark Richt has lost control of gasoline prices in California (Link Fixed) - bubblehead26 on 6/3/22 at 1:55 pm It's 6.39 at my corner gas station, or 6.19 with the purchase of a car wash...... Posted on O-T Lounge Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0) |
re: US Air Force has first successful Hypersonic missile
Launch
- bubblehead26 on 5/17/22 at 10:16 am
velocity of a ballistic missile and MIRV
Ding ding, somebody knows their military science. MIRV speed is about 4 times the speed of that hypersonic missile. The death nobody will see coming. Hard to imagine more than 4 MILES per second... Posted on O-T Lounge Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (2) |
re: CA started this NIL BS. Now they want more - bubblehead26 on 5/4/22 at 9:48 am I chuckle that they throw a race and gender equity name on the bill. I would guesstimate that 70% of the personnel receiving NIL deals in California are black males... Posted on More Sports Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0) |
re: What military leaders are taught when they take command (regarding blame) - bubblehead26 on 4/19/22 at 12:14 pm Navy COs for the most part place the blame game on their Sailors one day, then the next day hold an all hands call and "emphasize" that they (CO) are there for their Sailors no matter what. I've seen more back-stabbing from those in command more than I even care to remember. Reminder #1 to always ... Posted on Political Talk Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0) |
re: First tomahawk steak cook - bubblehead26 on 3/28/22 at 9:48 pm I thought so as well but it all worked out. Grill was 425, cooked over indirect heat with 7 or so minutes per side over the hot spot of the grill, no direct flame though. If the tomahawk was the only thing I was cooking, probably would’ve used some flame to crust it up a little more but it was sat... Posted on Food and Drink Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0) |
re: First tomahawk steak cook - bubblehead26 on 3/28/22 at 2:20 pm
am I the only one that finds tomahawk steaks to be a huge waste of money
I would generally agree with large cuts being a waste, but with the tomahawk, it's staying on the grill longer and soaking up the flavor of smoke. With a thinner ribeye it's sear over high heat and get out, s... Posted on Food and Drink Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (4) |
re: First tomahawk steak cook - bubblehead26 on 3/28/22 at 12:07 pm
but i much prefer much more red
I believe the pieces that are visible in the picture are from the outside of the cut. Rookie me, I should've taken a picture of the center, but it was definitely a little deeper red in some parts. I made sure to pull right as the probe ticked 125... Posted on Food and Drink Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0) |
First tomahawk steak cook - bubblehead26 on 3/28/22 at 11:46 am I’ve been eyeing it for a few months now and finally dove in and did one. Rubbed with Kinder’s master salt and fresh ground black pepper, cooked to 125 internal. Probably the most tender steak I’ve had in a long time. Paired with roasted potatoes, grilled corn, and Anaheim peppers stuffed with It... Posted on Food and Drink Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (4) |
re: Could Russian first strike installations be hacked? - bubblehead26 on 3/10/22 at 10:11 am
Even computers on submarines should be susceptible to hacks
You can't be serious right? You think we run around with a wire connected to the submarine? Plus, as stated above, submarine equipment is so old, I'm sure it was built before the hacker was born. All you could really do... Posted on O-T Lounge Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (1) |

re: Most of us probably owe our existence to a pair of Soviets who refused to push a button - bubblehead26 on 3/6/22 at 11:43 pm Nuclear torpedo wouldn’t have kicked off nuclear war… nobody would’ve known what happened to those 2 submarines and they would’ve been presumed lost at sea. K-129 sank right off Hawaii, nobody knows what really happened to it... Posted on O-T Lounge Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (3) |

re: Which American city above 200,000 people has the most weak-arse skyline? - bubblehead26 on 3/4/22 at 10:45 am I didn't realize Moreno Valley had that many people. Impressive considering Temecula/Murrieta/Menifee is just slightly south with 300k between all of them.... Posted on O-T Lounge Jump to Post - View Topic - Replies (0) |
