I'm taking top bunk. And according to terd, we'll have PLENTY of supplies, including soap and toothpaste and whatnot. It's why we end up winning.

So you want the smells.

I guess that's better than the bunk collapsing on top of you while you jerk it

However, for those who keep talking about the "winner" of this [being] the branch who can bring down the most nuclear hellfire, you're forgetting one thing, [there] would be no winner left standing when it was over.

But the AF is carrying all that over the water not on the water. We would be using it for negotiating power.

I had an Army Col. tell me the army has more planes than the airforce and more boats than the navy.

Any truth to that?

No. If you count helicopters maybe... but the AF has jets. I'd put a jet up against multiple planes and/or helicopters.

I don't know... but navy has ships and submarines. And if the Army does have more "boats" then it's got to be small patrol craft or rowboats or some dumb shite. Same as planes/helicopters vs jets, I'd take a destroyer/carrier/frigate/submarine over "boats".

How many nukes do you think each sub carries...?

One of these is true....

1. He's a real Col. and was fricking with you
2. He's not really a col. And was talking out of his arse
3. He was talking about the Air Force of Honduras and the Navy of Paraguay.

The army does not have more aircraft than the US Air Force or more boats than the US Navy

Fully loaded, a SSBN carries 24 Trident missiles each capable of carrying 12 warheads.

There are more than enough nukes to kill the bases.

Conventional TLAMs number in the thousands.

Aircraft provide additional shitkicking abilites.

Translation: The US Navy would frick every other branch up

How many nukes do YOU think each sub carries?

Each sub carries up to 24 Trident II intercontinental ballistic missiles, each of which carries up to 12 MIRVs (according to Wikipedia, at least), so by those numbers, one submarine could theoretically hit 288 bases.

Again, according to Wikipedia, the U.S. Air Force, Air Force Reserves, and Air National Guard have operations worldwide at approximately 255 bases, both our own and allied bases. The number of actual U.S. Air Force Bases is much lower. Two subs are more than enough to wipe out the entirety of the U.S. Air Force's existing installations worldwide in under 30 minutes.

Most people have no fricking clue when it comes to the destruction a single Ohio class SSBN can rain upon an enemy. The U.S. Navy has fourteen of those fricking world-enders.

If an enemy fricks up badly going toe-to-toe with the U.S. and just one of them gets its missiles away, it's all over. That's the idea.
